Brina: <<newsletter on our town for recreation activities and while I skimmed it, I came across a class for Taekwondo. The fee is $70 for 11 weeks and the sessions are only two days per week. A martial arts uniform is required and can be purchased for an additional $25 from the instructor. I seriously considered signing up because it's good exercise and I want to learn a form of self-defense but I had to hear from my family of the usual 'it cost too much' or 'why would you want to do that? Because of the TMNT?' >>
*decides to toss in her two cents* ;D Yeah, I agree with Dawn, that price sounds pretty good! I had taken TaeKwonDo as my first martial arts experience, and I liked it. And if your family gives you grief about it being a TMNT thing, tell em this is a Korean martial art. ;p I'll bet one in a million, you'll end up learning some of that language too. Count with me! "Il, ee, sam, sa, o..." ^^ I also heard that these places also let you work for them to pay off the fees. You should stop by there, check it out, talk to someone and see if they aloow for that. Also good to go and watch a couple classes to make sure their teaching style is okay with you. If you can work off the fees, Brina... would your family still let you go? ~HT ...of course, if I had a choice between martial arts or horseback riding lesson, I go for the riding lessons! ;] ===== -=[Linkin Park : Motion Man]=- Because from the start to the end no matter what I pretend The journey is more important than the end or the start And what it meant to me will eventually be A memory of the time when I tried so hard http://www.turtlequest.com __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
