There's always the possibility of getting a real used, beat-up hockey mask if you know any hockey players, or you could check at a used sporting goods or thrift store. No idea what the cost of an 'ok-to-resell' mask would be...
Heh wouldn't that stink a lot? A used hockey mask? Ug.
Problem with those old Casey-style hockey masks is that they went completely out of use in the early-mid 80s... pros had stopped using them by 86 and had gone to the wire cage look. You can buy some replicas of NHL old-style masks still.... for $250-$400 :P Of course, there might be some un-snatched-up ones in a pawn shop or garage sale (hockey collectors are just as avid as any other sport, you just hear less about them (at least, down south, you do)) and those old-fashioned masks may be difficult to find anymore.
Plus that's the movie-style, aight, but if you're lookin' for somethin' like what Casey wears in the new cartoons, I'm thinkin' constructing your own is the way to go -- as this kind of "hockey mask" was never really made. And silly toy companies have never, to my knowledge, made a Casey mask item for resale.
