I was just wondering if anyone knew if there are plans to
allow for pluggable security implementations for Tomcat 4 ?
Tomcat 3.3 already has the capability allowing people to
switch between using JSSE, PureTLS and any implementation
you wish to specify. This would be a great feature to
move into Tomcat 4 at some stage in the future as at the
moment it only supports JSSE.
