mod_jk

i am install in my linux suse the tomcat 3.2 final.
for using the mod_jk i am put configuration code in the apache conf file and
i am put the mod_jk.so file in /usr/lib/apache
with this is all rigth to use the mod_jk?
i am not make any thing more whit the mod_jk (compilation)
whit this is well?
i is is not well, can anybody say me what i must to make?, i dont understand
well the manual. Please help me
