Jeff: I post a similar message several days ago but no response. I think I figure it out yesterday. It's because of the bug in jasper-compiler.jar(in common/lib) for jsper2. You can either upgrate tomcat to 4.15 or copy the old jasper-compiler.jar from 4.06 which is using jsper1.
