Just wanted to find out what the list's experience is with Tomcat versus Apache ? Why is one preferred over the other ?
Is Tomcat used in a production site or just for development ? I've been arguing the case for Tomcat on an internal project esp. since there are no static pages and the system is using JSP/Java. I figure that the rework on catalina - the core engine - means that Tomcat runs faster.
