a folder called login under classes...what do you guys do after you edit a javabean? do you stop and start under catalina? or do you restart the apache service under administrative tools? or do you simply restart yoru comp?

What package did you put the class in? If the answer is none, that is why it does not work. Put it in a package and try again.
