if you try the example servlet "Hello World" the url must be 
http://localhost:8080/examples/servlet/HelloWorldExample"; cause this 
servlet is located in webapps/examples/WEB-INF/classes.

MAPPING configuration error for request URI /Hello
Any ideas?
