Okay, I've tried the linker from snv_104. It no longer produces those voluminous warnings, but it's still more than 3x as slow, on this one large library, than the snv_86 linker (which, recall, was already an order of magnitude slower than GNU ld).
Looks like it's time for profiling. Can this be done with a DTrace script? I don't know much about DTrace. Maybe you could provide me with a script? -- Scott -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
