Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: 64 bit Windows XP support Initial Comment: I would like TotoiseHg to support Windows XP Professional x64. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: TK Soh (tksoh) Date: 2008-11-21 13:46 Message: We don't have any 64-bit systems to support this. One possible workaround is to install TortoiseHg via source code. But then again, I can't verify that either. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-11-21 10:48 Message: Agreed. a 64 Bit Build would be awesome as my server is using Server 2003 x64. I Use TortoiseSVN 64 Bit just fine and MSYSGIT in 64 Bit as well. THis is the only app that does not seem to have x64 support. I would REALLY appreciate it! Thank you in advance. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-11-03 08:17 Message: Using 32bit explorer shows context menu however overlays don't work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-10-04 01:31 Message: TortoiseHG context menus will show up if you run 32-bit windows explorer; create a shortcut with this (or use Start > Run): %Systemroot%\SysWOW64\explorer.exe /separate ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-05-21 23:21 Message: Logged In: NO For those seeking a quick workaround: Use a 32-bit file commander, like FreeCommander or TotalCommander. They will display the 32-bit shell extensions provided by TortoiseHG. Alternatively, you can configure your context menus with Fast Explorer or switch your 64-bit windows to 32-bit explorer. Google for detailed info on this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=968357&aid=1967163&group_id=199155 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Tortoisehg-develop mailing list Tortoisehg-develop@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tortoisehg-develop
