This is only a problem to users that have unix line endings, which they can
solve by setting EDITOR or installing a notepad replacement. Those uses have
probably already done so for other reasons that THG.

The number of editors is large, and I believe that there is not one that
will satisfy all. Some use ultraedit, some notepad++, some komodo, some
emacs, some vi.

I don't think that it is necessary to bundle an editor, but if you decide to
do so, please choose one that is as small as possible.

Syntax highlighting is nice, but I wouldn't bundle an editor to get that.
