Hi,

I am new to Thg/Hg world with TSVN/SVN background. Currenlty the commit
dialog is divided into three panes, list of files on the left and commit
message and diff detail on the right. For me it would be more user
friendly with just two panes, top for commit message and bottom for list
of files (similar to TSVN commit dialog). The reason is that with
current layout I cannot see full path of the committed files and also
full line length side by side - the dialog is too wide. Placing them
like described, this problem will go away. The diff detail can
optionally by displayed bellow list of files on third pane but I usually
don't care about diffs, they are not readable for me, I prefer visual
diff.

This layout change could be also applied to workbench where the total
width of window is even worse as there is list of repositories on the
left.

What is your opinion?

Thanks for your time and support, Jan
