There are three ways I know about: 1. The context menu rename is also hg copy. When the rename dialog opens, click 'Copy source -> destination' and it will make a copy instead. 2. If you have the workbench open to the Commit view, you can right-click a tracked file and select Copy. This opens the same dialog as above with the 'Copy source...' already checked. 3. If you don't mind working from the command line, you can also type hg commands directly into the workbench's Output Log. (I mostly use it for looking at hg's help and updating to the null revision.)
