I'm interested in learning about how to mentor students'
contributions to the Trilinos software project (trilinos.sandia.gov)
and hopefully also use mentorship as an opportunity to contribute to
or influence curriculum development. I have a lot to learn, so i may
just lurk for a while and listen to the wonderful conversations
happening here.

Mark! Yay! Welcome to TOS -- it's great to see you here.

Since you've just joined the list, a heads up: you'll see an unusual amount of jabbering about SIGCSE. That's http://www.sigcse.org/sigcse2012, a huge CS education conference a lot of people on this list are going to -- so you may think "good lord, do they talk about anything else?" and the answer is "yes, it might just take a week or two for other topics to emerge."

Folks: if you or your students are interested in supercomputing education, Mark is totally your guy.
