Oh, i figured that -- this is one reason why i planned to lurk for a while ;-) > Folks: if you or your students are interested in supercomputing education, > Mark is totally your guy. Awwww, i try ;-) Let me take the opportunity to encourage grad students interested in supercomputing / HPC (not just CS students -- engineers and scientists are welcome too!) to apply for the George Michael Memorial ACM/IEEE HPC Fellowship. This will be my third year on the committee (it's a lot of fun to review the applications and host the winners' talks). The award provides a semester stipend and free travel and lodging at Supercomputing the following year. Application materials will be available soon -- you can read previous years' announcements at http://sc10.supercomputing.org/?pg=GeorgeMichaelMemorial.html http://sc11.supercomputing.org/?pg=awards.html I'll go back to lurk mode now, but do feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thanks Mel! mfh _______________________________________________ tos mailing list [email protected] http://lists.teachingopensource.org/mailman/listinfo/tos
