I'll try it again when more updates are available.  It's not a problem
for me, I was just surprised when it happened.  I've had very few issues
with Ubuntu, and thought this might be something not many people have
tried before.  I usually use the --y switch anyway.

  apt update continued to update after I said "n" at the prompt

Status in apt package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I ran "apt update" and see there were packages that needed update, I
  wanted to see wihch ones, so I ran "apt upgrade", looked at the
  packages needing to be upgraded, realized it would take too long and I
  was already running behind so I said NO to the prompt to continue.  It
  then proceeded to complete the updates as if I had said yes.  See
  attached screen shot.
