I tried the slideshow feature last night from a WD "My Passport" USB disk that was being used for music playback.
I found no way to point the Touch to a particular folder of pictures. This is a VERY desirable capability if it's going to do a slideshow. The pictures the Touch decided to show were fairly large. Almost every time it went to a new picture, there was about a half-second hiccup in the audio. I did NOT find a way to easily STOP the slideshow other than the OFF button on the remote.
