I haven't made that direct comparison. I marginally preferred the Bel Canto sound from the digital SB+ to that of the internal DAC, so that's how I had it set up. Listening to the sound from the two digital outs via the DAC I couldn't tell a difference (both sounded great) so I'm now using the Touch with the DAC and selling the SB+.
