If its actually on the Touch asking, it is a Firmware Update, not an SBS Update. Firmware updates are rXXXX and SBS production versions are 7.5.X and the next big one will most likely be 7.6.0. So if a player asks for an update/download, it is a Firmware update. If SBS on your server says it has a newer server version available, it will probably be a production SBS 7.5.X or 7.6.0 when it becomes available. But you are right in that if the player has told you it has a Firmware upgrade available and you downloaded it, you will most likely see an improvement in your player. So its a good thing, but not production SBS 7.6.0. -- iPhone *iPhone* Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: Second Boom Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78769 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list Touch@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
