The receptacle has been checked and functions correctly and I did try a different outlet and got the same results (black screen). I do not have a matching power source. Will the Touch run at a higher voltage (12v?)? Acording to the Logitech website they are open on Sunday so I will give them a call as soon as they open. I will go to my "fail to safe" and use my old DAC... Again, I thank you for your followup post!
