The microphone is not on the board. It is mounted in the plastic case with a short little pigtail wire ending in a small white connector. There are two of these coming out of the case: one for the mic and one for the speaker. You can clearly see them in the picture. The one on the right is the Mic. These pigtails plug into jacks on the board. They are on the opposite side of the board from the side shown in the picture.
