Thank you for these two swift replies. I must confess I hadn't appreciated just how important tags are.
To garym: I do use mp3tag and will now follow your advice and see what I can discover. To mherger: The albums I am experiencing difficulty with are: Benjamin Grosvenor "This and That" I'm getting three "albums". David Rhodes "Bittersweet" I'm getting two "albums" and, oddly under the same artist I'm getting Peter Gabriel's "So" album which is one of my own CD rips. Gwyneth Herbert "Ten Lives" I'm getting two "albums" a different spelling of her name and only one track on each album. Howie B "Good Morning Scalene" I'm getting two "albums" Trio Goya "The Heart of Invention" I'm getting three "albums" I'm also getting an "Unknown Artist" which isn't even on my list!! Thank you both again.
