I would not recommend getting this DAC. The probability that it will sound better than a Touch on its own is pretty low. There is nothing in this design that is particularly better than what is in the Touch.
If you really want to try something DIY build the power supply I've posted here. Its easy to build and can yield significant improvements in some systems. Also try Soundcheck's tweaks, I've heard significant improvements with thses. (its just software, you can always go back if you don't like it) If you are really adventuresome you can take the Touch apart and bypass the output caps. A combination of these will give you quite a bit better sound than you can get from that DAC.
