I have had my touch for months now and have always had this problem for as long as I can remember and have just lived with it since day one. I set my touch to switch the screen of when playing/or just in idle as I have it in the bedroom and even on the lowest screen brightness setting it anooys the OH so i configures it this way,
Now, I know this is a bit of a waste but the duet I had planned for the bedroom just has problems with volume that don't trigger my wireless speakers to turn on, (that's another issue) Basically, I continually come back to the touch and it is in a state of where there is nothing on the display but there is a dull backlight on and it looks kind of grey, to stop this, i either play and then pause a track or turn the unit off then back on, then after 10 seconds the screen turns of as it should. will try and get a photo/video of this in action over next few days if i cant rectify it. It's not like it does this sporadically, this is the default behaviour. Has anyone else seen this?
