I wonder why the server doesn't download the latest 7.6 firmware for the Touch. You can download it yourself from this page:
http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/7.6.0/ You want the fab4.version and fab4_7.6.0_r9243.bin files. Place them in the 7.6 server's \cache\updates folder.
