Hmph. Having a bit more time on my hands I found out what was going on with 'folder.jpg'. Turned out it was marked with the System attribute. Having removed that it was the correct image so I'm still left wondering why the Touch wasn't showing anything. Now I can add to that the mystery of what set the System attribute on that file?
