At the risk of getting off-topic, I completely agree about the Boom as a bedside radio. I actually have my other Boom in the living/reading room with an old sub from a Cambridge Soundworks 2.1 system behind the couch. The sub adds enough low-end to let the Boom hold its own it that room.
