We NOW know that the rip is NOT the problem... :-) Please do what I said and try WITHOUT the DAC in place - just temporarily unplug the interconnects from the back of your DAC and connect to the Touch. As Slate said, my next guess was the DAC (muting/sample rate changes might cause this sound)... finally you need to make sure you have the latest version of SBS and Touch Firmware. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
