No SB device or software changes or adds any tags. Therefore, you are seeing tags that really are within your files. Your tagging is incorrect/unconventional any way. You should be using:
ARTIST Bob Dylan ARTISTSORT Dylan, Bob If you are using the ALBUMARTIST tag, you should be using: ALBUMARTIST Bob Dylan ALBUMARTISTSORT Dylan, Bob Also, there is no need to treat "The" specially as SBS does that anyway when sorting/browsing/searching. I suspect you have multiple tag types (another bad idea)... use MP3Tag to check for ID3Vx tags as well as FLAC tags if you are using flac.
