It works fine and since 7.6 almost all bugs regarding such characters are fixed.
Sorting of such charactersrs will depend on language settings in squeezeboxserver. I use åäö and accents, there are languages with a lot more of these things. Search from a player ( they don't have these caracters on their keyboards ) will work by using similar looking letters, Searching for Bjork will find Björk.
