okay, things are becoming a bit clearer, this particular album that i noticed this quirk on is actually a FLAC.
All tracks are correctly tagged according to MP3tag, including track numbers with a leading zero. Looking at the album with media monkey, the track numbers do not have the leading zero..... interesting. I have set SBS to display track#.Artist. A quick look thru SBS displays most albums in TRACK order , with the track number displayed first, then the track name. The album in question does NOT display the track number ! weird !
