IMO, it's because it requires the use of the context-menu that it's so easy to screw up on the Touch. And even easier on the Radio with its click-knob. It's also a huge PITA because you have to use the slow click-hold method to call up the menu, then make a menu selection, and then sit through the slow overlay that appears when you add a track.
