hi, i want to connect this ZyXEL NSA310 with logitech media server/sqeezcentre installed (haven't bought one yet) to SBT via network cable, instead of having the NAS connected to router and SBT connected wirelessly. i have read that the sound quality is improved further by direct connection. however, by doing this i would have to select wired connection on the SBT and i guess this would disable the internet connection. so would the SBT still function without wifi/internet connection, as the zyxel has no ability to add a usb wifi dongle? if possible, could the original poster plug the zyxel direct into SBT to see if it still functions. i don't wanna spend out on it if it doesn't work, i want to be sure, not just with responses from people who 'think' it'll work (no offence anyone else). i just want a stand alone player without internet (with only a hard drive connected, the built in squeeze server functions quite slowly, so i want to have the NAS with server installed to take the load off SBT). and also report back if, as others have said, that there's improvement in sound quality. cheers
