The wording may not be exact - I'm writing this from memory - but: on the Home Screen, select USB (or SD card if using that) on the screen that comes up, scroll down until it says Eject USB another screen will show up, scroll down again until you see Eject USB the screen will say ejecting, then say OK
(you need to go through a couple of prompts before it will eject it.)
