I've been checking out the specs for the Benchmark DAC and from my limited understanding they look impressive. Although I did not want to go $1200, if the fidelity is much improved, then it is manageable (may have to break the wife into it gently). What are the advantages that have been experienced? Is it realistic "live" sound? Thank you.
