I have owned a Touch for a couple of years--and use it to stream to a Cambridge Audio 840C (192 capable). I always set LMS to decode flacs on the server as it sounds better to me, but couldn't play anything over 24/96 as 192 didn't downsample. I installed EDO and LMS 7.8 Beta (so I could send 24/192 wav) yesterday without a problem, and now I can stream my 24/192 files via s/pdif flawlessly. (using hardwire ethernet) All lower bit rates seem improved also. Sure beats streaming with an Oppo 93/95 as the interface is superior and sounds as good. Thanks triode--you made my day (and year too) Thinking of purchasing a M2tech HiFace2 with USB output option--will let you know if it works.
