I Just tried (twice) to update to version logitechmediaserver-7.7.2-sparc-readynas and when the process is complete, Logitech media server is *not* present in the Streaming Services in the FrontView setup interface of my ReadyNAS NV+.
The reason I did the update is that SCANNING will not work. Logitech Media Server Scan ABORTS. I followed the instructions given here: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SqueezeCenter_on_ReadyNAS because the instructions on the Logitech site, though different, date from 2009... I was told NOT to use the Clean_SqueezeCenter_DB_1.0 to install the newest version of LMS. I am now WITHOUT a media server. What do I need to do? How can I get back to an earlier version if this one doesn't work?
