But it's choppy. Like 2 seconds of music (which sounds great!) and then two seconds of silence. This off and on and off sequence just continues for the duration of the track. Is there a physical difference in USB cables that could explain why this is happening? I just pulled two ancient USB cables out of my cable pile and tried them with the same results. These cables are probably > 10 years old and designed for USB 1.1, if I had to guess.
