I wanted to start a new thread about this in the hope of catching the eye of someone who is doing the coding for LMS.
Since 7.7.3 (and including 7.8), I have not been able to play 96/24 mono ALAC files. They do stream, but the volume is so low that with my amp all the way up and my ear to a speaker, I can barely hear them playing. 7.7.2 worked well with these files; so something happened in 7.7.3 (that I wish hadn't).
