I got home last night and one of my Touches screens was blank and normally it's the digital clock. Much faffing about later it turned out that the Touch had become detached from the wireless network and couldn't recover itself. I reconnected *and* re-entered the auth info for the LMS and all returned to normal.
No errors were raised and "Now Playing" went nowhere.
