I'll have to look around for an audio DVD disc with a DVDV layer. But I am pretty sure it will only output the 96k over the HDMI. But still a worthwhile experiment. When I scroll through the information on the B&K display, it show the 48k as 48k and plays them just fine, including the down-sampled HD tracks. But when I try to play the 96k files the B&k display shows 32k (exactly 1/3) and does not produce any sound.
