Yes probably a lot of hard work , but then much off what makes a touch
what it is would disappear the touch menu structure is made for and
mostly rendered by the LMS server all browsing and search is LMS
generated .

Someone could possible develop a player that's installs on the Touch
hardware . They might already exist if build from source code.

But then if want to use the screen , writing a new program to be an upnp
control piont is probably not easy .

Suppose it's here most people just go and buy an upnp player , you got a
lot to choose from there . It's not shortage of upnp player they are new
ones developed every week . So making squeezeboxes upnp players makes
little sense ?

So it's a solved problem buy or download an upnp player , if you sell
the Touch you probably make money in the process .

The whole piont with squeezeboxes is to use LMS server it's is usually a
much better user experience .
Hence why some uses phillipe's plugin to do it the other way around
connect upnp players to LMS ( hence imho they become really useful for
the first time )
