Even that isn't a very good topic line. What does "CD quality" mean? I
guess a lot of people naively and falsely equate "resolution" or "data
rate" with "quality", so "CD rate streams" might have been better. I
find that recording quality very seldom directly correlates to data
rate, except with extremely low data rates.

Something worth remembering is that digital audio is totally based on
technology (as opposed to art or whatever), so the people most likely to
be able to answer questions are people with a scientific or engineering
background. Anyone with such a background has learned the value of being
able to communicate precisely, unambiguously and efficiently, and will
likely be frustrated with ambiguous, imprecise and misleading use of
terms and language. Poetry and marketing prose is another matter... :)
