The limitation is in the player 24/48 is what the SB3 can do even on its digital out it can not "pass trough" any thing of a higher rate. So if you have a 24/96 or 24/192 file you have to transcode it down to 24/48 . The EDO plugin does two things for a Squeezebox Touch enables USB as output if you want that enables 192kHz on the coaxial output ,but it also disables the analog out . Its basically doen to get USB out .
