So I thought I would rip my CD collection onto a 1TB hard drive and run it into my squeezbox touch via the usb connection. Seemed logical. I tried one CD and am unable to access the hard drive to find the music. When I plug the hard drive in the squeeze box says it is attaching the device. I'm missing something. It is an un-powered hard drive. I can stream from my PC using LMS but I want the hard drive to me hard wired. So I'm here asking the experts again. How do I do this? What works best?
