Touch is over 10 years old, it was slow and had limited memory when it
came out and disk size were much smaller. 
I think a 1Tb disk maybe too big for it and possibly not right format -
IIRC Touch only supports FAT16, FAT32, ext2, ext3 and maybe an old
version of NTFS.
