Yeah, default version should be the empty one, and I think we've already 
discussed and agreed to remove the 'none' entry for the version field, 
as this is now redundant with the empty entry. If nobody objects, I'll 
do that later today.

We could also modify the big red box warning to mention the need for 
specifying the 'version' information.

As for the javascript bit, this will probably have to wait the workflow 
stuff and t.e.o using that... unless someone contributes and quick patch 
for this and another someone applies that on the t.e.o Trac, of course!
