As the previous mail of that kind was well received, I've written
another report for tickets in the Trac project. I also give the
relative change since last month, in %.
== Ticket Statistics (2007-10-05) ==
On a total of 6133 tickets (+2.7%):
- 1932 tickets (+0.7%) are valid issues that have been addressed
(i.e. closed as fixed)
- 3070 tickets (+3.5%) are closed as duplicates, wontfix, invalid and
worksforme
- 250 tickets (+12%) have been deleted (spam, offensive content,
etc.)
This leaves 866 issues opened, divided between untriaged tickets,
tickets awaiting for feedback and valid tickets (+1.7%)
- 155 tickets (-4.3%) with no Milestone (see {20})
- 56 tickets (+9.9%) awaiting user feedback (see {21})
- 688 valid tickets (+5.4%) with a milestone set,
which can be further divided into:
* 63 tickets (+3.3%) for 0.10-stable (see {22})
* 27 tickets (+35%) for 0.11 (see {23})
* 169 tickets (+1.8%) for 0.11-stable (see {25})
* 366 tickets (+1.4%) for future releases (see {24})
The {x} number corresponds to a Trac report containing
those tickets sorted by last modification date.
== Comments ==
One can see that despite the ever increasing number of tickets, good
progresses have been made on the triage side, as we note a diminution
of the number of tickets to be triaged. Many thanks to those who have
joined this effort (and special thanks to sid ;-) ).
Note also that the +35% increase on the number of tickets for 0.11 is
not that significant, as the number of tickets is quite low and most
of those are small ones. As usual, test and review of the pending
patches or commenting on the proposed solutions for those tickets
would be greatly appreciated.
