Personally I feel I don't have the time to produce such a patch - but
I can help with some part of this... Judging from the German
translation, the situation is obviously the same for others.
Therefore I'd like to get some patches into trac right now which fix
the outdated po file + remove fuzzy translations. I attached my
patches to #5475.
Sure, I will apply them soon.
When this is committed, I propose to use bitbucket + patch queues for
the German translation team until there is a good patch which can go
into trunk. We might want to see if Transifex can help us here as well.
While I have no problems with that, I also think that it makes sense to
introduce the change progressively, no need to wait for the "ultimate"
update. That way, you might get sooner some feedback as well. So feel
free to attach diffs regularly on #5475. Note that if you plan to take
care for the German translation, we can give you commit privs on the
.pot template and on the German catalog, that would be even better.
