Don't worry, I've done a couple of i18n reworks, but none went without
the need to learn a bit more. The name-space declaration for templates
should be visible in any plugin. Otherwise the name-space is the default
one (trac), and that works badly, as you witnessed.

You're welcome to join and help enrich and improve existing i18n
documentation [1][2][3].
